The Museum of Unnatural History at ClampArt I am very excited to announce that some of my Utopic work will be part of a group exhibition at Clampart Gallery in Chelsea NY. Inspired by Lori Nix, "The Museum of Unnatural History" will open late Februrary and include a fantastic line up of artists including: Richard Barnes, Blake Fitch, Jill Greenberg, Nicole Hatanaka, Harri Kallio, Hippolyte-Alexandre Michallon, Lori Nix, Matthew Pillsbury, Elliot Ross, Amy Stein and Marisol Villanueva!

Utopic at Rule Gallery Last newsletter I mention my upcoming solo show of Utopic at Rule Gallery in Denver. Thank you all for attending it was great to see you. Linked is a review in the Denver arts online journal by Ken Hamel.
PUBLICATIONS
Black Warrior Review I'm slated to be the featured artist for the next issue of the Black Warrior Review. BWR publishes fiction, poetry, nonfiction, art and comics
twice annually. They have an international circulation, and have
perennially been named one of the top literary journals in the
country. BWR is carried by many small bookstores around the country,
as well as several hundred Barnes & Noble stores. Recent artists they
have published include Paho Mann, Deth P. Sun, and Eduardo Bertone.
Plates to Pixels Book Back in 2008 my Utopic work was featured as an online exhibition and interview, with Plates to Pixels part of the Pacific North West Center for Photography. The work appearing on the site is scheduled to be published as a book due to be out in June, stay tuned!
The Open Daybook Artist and Professor at California Institute of the Arts, David Earle approached me about creating a piece to be published in a book called The Open Daybook. The book will consist of 365 Artists all making one piece of work for a specific day. The book will be published by Mark Batty Publishers and
distributed by Random House in October, 2010.
AWARDS, RECOGNITIONS
Photolucidia Critical Mass My Utopic work made the 2009 final 175, while I didn't make it to the top 50 it was really great to get my work out in front of 200 curators, editors, and professionals for review, the feedback I received was invaluable. Thank You!
Project 5 Portfolio Review I was accepted into the NYC Project 5 portfolio review this winter. Project 5 is a collaboration between Amador Gallery, ClampArt, Daniel Cooney Fine Art, Foley Gallery and Sasha Wolf Gallery. It was truly a great experience and I would highly recommend it to any emerging photographer.
Daniel Cooney Emerging Artists Auction Last but not least I was asked to be part of the Emerging Artists Auction hosted by Daniel Cooney Fine art of NYC. An artist proof print of Pink Placebo is up for auction until February 4th. Have a look there is a lot of great work available for some incredible prices.
